The Caramulo Motorfestival is an event for the whole family, and there are plenty of activities lined up for the little ones throughout the three days of the festival. Find out all about them in this short guide.

Motorlândia

Motorlândia is the area dedicated to the youngest visitors, and it is here that you’ll find a Formula 1 slot car track.

There are also other activities on offer, organised by Ponto Verde, such as an inflatable goal and the ‘Reciclamania’ game.

The area also features inflatable play areas, food and drink zones, rest areas and non-stop musical entertainment on the Bikersville by Cartrack stage, with free entry throughout the event.

Simulators

Younger visitors who want to get behind the wheel of a car at Motorfestival have seven simulators to choose from.

To experience the adrenaline of a racing driver first-hand, visit the Caramulo Experience Centre (CEC), where there are five simulators, including ‘The Senna Experience’, where you can experience the sensation of sitting behind the wheel of Ayrton Senna’s Lotus 97T and racing with the same intensity as the driver around the Estoril circuit.

Opel simulators are also available opposite the Caramulo Museum, and Castrol simulators are situated next to the motorbike paddock.

Traditional games

In the Cartrack area, children can also play table football, cornhole, noughts and crosses, and the tin can game. Here, they can also try their hand at winning prizes.

The 5 tracks for kids

Within the festival grounds, there are five tracks where the little ones can experience the thrill of motor racing up close.

Four tracks have been set up in the Motorlândia area: the Castrol Junior Track, the go-kart track, the Estoril Circuit slot car track, and the Valorpneu remote-controlled car track.

Next to the petrol pumps, there is also the Autodrive track, featuring electric go-karts, designed for children aged six and over.
