Hygiene and Safety Plan

With the intention of making the XVI edition of Caramulo Motorfestival happen, an initiative by Museu do Caramulo in a partnership with ACP, the organization created a thorough hygiene and safety plan based in the new legislation, DGS norms, FPAK demands and the best international acts for this type of situation, like:

– Those that don`t present this evidence may have the test done on the scene – with the added cost of €15 – in two guichets made for the effect and validated by a medical professional present on the only possible two entrances to the event;

– Realization of thermic control at the entrance through infrared thermometers;

– It won`t be allowed entrance to those who presents temperatures above 38 degrees, in that case they will be directed to a covered isolation for post thermic control after 10 minutes after the first one was taken;

-In case of persistence of high temperature, a medical professional will accompany the person to a mobile medical unity where it will be contacted the support line of SNS 24 and the competent health authority;

– Reinforcement of the medical team with the presence of two ambulances and their respective staff, in addition there will also be present a body of firefighters;

– The mandatory use of mask to all the visitors and participants of the event from the age of 10 years old and up, to the accordance of Decreto-lei n.º 62-A/2020 de 27 of October;

– Reinforcement of the voluntary team for a more efficient control of the preventive measures during the days of the event. This team will be responsible to assure the fulfilment, clarification and sensibilization to the visitants for behaviors to adopt at the event;

– All the staff (volunteers, collaborators, organizers) will be identified with credentials on the chest, exclusive wardrobe easily recognizable, as well as, protection masks, that will be changed with accord of the DGS regulations;

– Reduction of the hours of the event – it will start on Friday (3rd of September) from 2 pm, ending at 9pm. On Saturday (4th of September) the doors will open ate 10 am and will end at 9pm, finishing of Sunday (5th of September) beginning at 10am and coming to an end at 6pm;

– After the entrance it will be delivered red wrist bands identified as free access to those who fulfill the previous requirements, for easy monitoring by the voluntary team;

– Entries and exists of the event by different areas of circulation properly identified;

-Fixation of sines on the entrances and strategics places, in the regards of assuring that all of the visitors have the necessary information, relative to good practices e hygiene and health recommendations;

-The visitors will be advised to keep social distance of at least two meters, conveniently signalized;

-The consumption of foods or drinks in the venue, may only be done on two delimited zones and in open areas, of restaurants and bars designed for the effect, better illustrated in the map of the event;

-Colocation of trash cans for the collection of residues in sufficient numbers, in strategic places on the areas of the food court. The voluntary team will be paying special attention to assure that all of the space maintains it self free of residues on the floor, namely, protection masks and discarded cups;

-Max capacity of visitors will be controlled by calculating entrances, so that the fulfillment of norms to the date may be upheld, averaging a medium of 50m2 available for person at the course of the day as reference of the 100.000m2 available;

-Limitation of persons on spaces of greater public density (pre-departure grid and food court), defining distancing zones and promoting the conditioned dislocation by ribbons or markings on the floor;

– Creation of the figure “Safety Officer”, maximal responsible and exclusively to the application and execution of all hygiene and safety measures.


Now we present the specific measures of each area of the event

Access to the event (two doors), gas station and church
