Hygiene and Safety Plan

With the intention of making the XV edition of Caramulo Motorfestival happen, an initiative by Museu do Caramulo in a partnership with ACP, the organization created a thorough hygiene and safety plan based in the new legislation, DGS norms, FPAK demands and the best international acts for this type of situation, like:

– Reinforcement of the event’s volunteer team, equipped with individual protection masks, visors, gloves, disinfectant, and protection goggles

– Max capacity of visitants, with a constant guarantee of around 20 m² for person throughout the day;

– Restriction on the people in more crowded spaces (starting line and f&b areas), defining distancing zones and promoting the controlled movement by demarcation tapes and marking elements on the floor or fixed;

– Introduction of glass barriers between each person and a distance of one and a half meters between tables in the f&b zone;

– Creation of a cleaning and disinfection team for the building and surfaces with a bigger physical contact (fences, counters, handles), assuring their hygiene before opening the doors and at the end of each day of the event;

– Establish partnership with a hygiene and safety company for presence in the event and compliance of the before mentioned points;

– Disinfecting gel available in several points of the event space, with the addition of moving distribution service by the volunteers of the event in the circulation zones;

– Introduction of supplementary bleachers with marked seat in the pre-grid zone, guaranteeing that all the safety distances legally imposed (alternating seats, with one empty seat in between and mismatched with the next row ones);

– Introduction of temperature checking to the public in the only 3 possible access points to the event, done by the volunteer team, equipped with infrared thermometer;

– Entrances and exits of the event in distinct and distant areas;

– Introduction of a communication/audible alarm system by speaker, properly timed during the event, alerting to the safety distance measures recommended;

– Cancellation of activities that promote proximity and contact between people (eg.; signing sessions with drivers, award ceremony);

– In each area of work entrusted to the organization of the event, guarantee a limit of people in each area of work and definition of a specific safety protocol for each team;

– Control on entrances in the only closed of spaces of the event, Motorlândia Fun Park and Museu do Caramulo, and marking of entrances and exits to the public with proper and separated circuits;

– Access doors to the closed spaces controlled, but open to avoid handling;

– Online briefing with the participants of the Rampa Histórica Michelin prior to the event, and waiting areas with signed circuits and physical social distancing marks;

– Creation of the figure “Safety Officer”, maximal responsible and exclusively to the application and execution of all hygiene and safety measures.

Now we present the specific measures of each area of the event

Access to the event (3 entrance doors)
