Race for Good was born in 2018 when André Villas-Boas decided to participate in the prestigious Dakar Rally. Years earlier, he had been invited to be an ambassador for three institutions to which he is emotionally attached, and it made sense to use the media impact of the event to promote the social and humanitarian causes of each of them. Thus, the #raceforgood movement was created.
This movement could not have had a better start; a race as challenging as the Dakar became a perfect metaphor to raise awareness of the causes and challenges of the institutions that Race For Good sponsors.
Since then, André Villas-Boas and Race for Good have taken the message of APPACDM do Porto – Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of Mentally
Disabled Citizens, Ace Africa, and Laureus Sport for Good across borders, helping them to reach further, change more lives, and bring more smiles to those who need it most.
If you believe you can make a difference in someone’s life with your classic car, sign up for this initiative’s patron registry. Provide a different experience and be a sign of hope.
Your company, your car and your driving will be forever kept in someone’s memory.
