Carlos Tavares

Brief info

Stellantis pilot and CEO, formed from the union of PSA with FCA

Passionate about cars from an early age and current CEO of Stellantis, Carlos Tavares began by being a track commissioner at Autódromo do Estoril.

He made his first race behind the wheel of an Alfasud Sprint in Vila do Conde, in 1980, and three years later he began to participate in rallies with his friend Bruno Cébile as a navigator, with Arnaud Montagné as assistant coach.

Throughout his competitive career, he has had several moments of prominence, including participation in the Monte Carlo Rally with his own team, Clementeam Racing, and also victory in the A2 class in the 24 hours of Barcelona 2014, behind the wheel of a Peugeot RCZ.

It is recognized as an authentic “Car Guy”, still having an extraordinary collection of cars, which it uses regularly to compete and whose maintenance is done by itself.
