Emerson Fittipaldi

Emerson Fittipaldi is a bi-champion Formula 1 world, having won the title in the 1972 and 1974 seasons
He started karting at the age of 14. Seven years later he became Formula V champion, behind the wheel of a car built by himself together with his brother. In 1969 he joined Formula Ford. That same year he won the title of Formula 3 World Champion. He also won the 4th place in the European Formula 2 championship.
In 1970, Emerson Fittipaldi made his Formula One debut at the British Grand Prix, driving a Lotus 49C. Two years later, with the victory in the Italian Grand Prix, the Brazilian driver won his first title of Formula 1 World Champion, with the Lotus 72D, becoming the first Brazilian to win the title and still the youngest champion of the race queen of motorsport, Remember that you held for more than 30 years. In 1974, Fittipaldi won his second Formula One title, this time riding a McLaren M23.
In 1984, Fittipaldi made his Indy debut, finishing 5th. The same year he made his first race at the Indianapolis 500. In 1989, Emerson Fittipaldi became the first Brazilian driver to become Indy Formula One champion. That same year he achieved victory in the mythical Indianapolis 500 race, leading the race through 158 of the 200 laps. During his time in Formula Indy, the Brazilian driver won 22 victories and 17 times started from first place.
Throughout his Formula One career, Emerson Fittipaldi appeared in 149 Grands Prix, having climbed to the top of the podium in 14 of them.
