Filipe Albuquerque

Filipe Albuquerque's passion for motorsport began in 1993 when he first experienced karting at Kartódromo da Batalha.
At the age of 22, he took his first official test behind the wheel of the Toro Rosso F1 single-seater, an experience that led him through a journey of twists and turns crowned with successes. He raced on all the major tracks of the world competition calendar, notably the Circuit de la Sarthe, where in the 2014 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans – as Audi’s works team racing driver – he was awarded the “Best Rookie of the Year” prize.
His track record has been continuously enriched: victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona (in GT in 2013 and overall in 2018, sharing the wheel with João Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi), 1st place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in LMP2 in 2020, winning the European Le Mans Series championship (2020) and the FIA WEC (2019/2020 season) are just some of the highlights of a career that continues to this day – currently, Filipe Albuquerque competes in IMSA with Wayne Taylor Racing and in FIA WEC with United Autosports.
