Manuel Gião is one of the most successful Portuguese speed drivers ever, internationally
The driver has a career divided between formulas and tourism, has competed in Formula 3, the International Open GT and the SEAT Leon Eurocup in 2014, where he was runner-up in 2015.
His persistence in trying to reach the top step of motorsport – Formula 1 – led him down paths as distinct as Super Formula, Nissan Formula or Italian Formula 3000. His best performance was in Formula Nissan, where he competed with Formula One champion Fernando Alonso and became runner-up.
He moved to GT competitions in 2004. He participated in the 24 Hours Daytona, and was runner-up in the Spanish category in 2005 and 2006.
