Pedro Lamy

Pedro Lamy was the first Portuguese driver to score in Formula 1, with an enviable career on the biggest stages of the Resistance
After a meteoric succession with the successive conquest of the National Championship of F. Ford, the European Championship of F. Opel/Lotus, the German Championship of F.3 and the vice-championship of F. 3000, Pedro Lamy became the second Portuguese Driver to compete in an F1 GP.
During four seasons Pedro Lamy participated in 32 Formula One Grands Prix at the wheel of Lotus and Minardi. In 1997, he competed in the FIA GT championship and in 1999, he was part of the strong Mercedes-Benz team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In 2000 and 2001, Pedro Lamy competed in the DTM championship at the wheel of one of Team Rosberg’s Mercedes Benz CLK. After his departure from DTM, he played the 24-hour Nurburgring, which he won at the wheel of a Chrysler Viper.
He was the official driver of Peugeot Sport and Aston Martin in the Endurance, being World Endurance Champion in the LM GTE AM category in 2917 and having won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMGTE AM category in 2012. He also finished 2nd overall in the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans on board the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP.
