its world premiere at the Caramulo Museum.
The path that led Emerson to glory and the Olympus of racing drivers was short, fast, but challenging. Opportunities were seized with courage, dedication, and a remarkable work ethic, on a journey that conquered Europe, America, and, along the way, the entire world. The Fittipaldi name continues to forge its path and write history in motorsport, but Emerson’s achievements are symbolized in these machines, which tell a visual story of the success of one of the most charismatic drivers of all time. LIVE AND IN COLOR
In 2025, we mark 80 years since the end of World War II, the greatest conflict in
human history, whose far-reaching impact profoundly shaped modern society – from
politics to geography, from science to culture. To commemorate this milestone, the
Caramulo Museum presents the exhibition “World War II Live and in Color”, an
unprecedented display of original vehicles from both sides of the conflict,
accompanied by hundreds of period artifacts that bear witness to stories of courage,
innovation, and resilience.
Spread across two buildings, the exhibition reveals a collection built over more than
two decades, highlighting the engineering and creativity of war machines. The
experience is enriched by an immersive Virtual Reality journey, transporting visitors
to emblematic scenarios of the conflict. This combination of material heritage and
sensory technology aims to create a deep connection with history, honoring the
sacrifices of those who lived through one of the most defining periods of the 20th
century.
