Formula Vee single-seaters return to the Caramulo Motorfestival, with their own category on the Castrol Historical Hill Climb. Following their appearances in recent editions, the formula returns to action at Caramulo.

Created in the United States in the 1960s and based on Volkswagen Beetle mechanical components, Formula Vee became an important training ground for drivers, with future Formula 1 World Champions Niki Lauda, Emerson Fittipaldi, Nelson Piquet and Keke Rosberg among those who raced in the category.

Formula Vee made its Portuguese debut in 1966, with Palma chassis built by Palma & Morgado. From 4th to 6th September, a formula that shaped generations of motorsport returns to the Castrol Historical Hill Climb.
