The Caramulo Motorfestival will strengthen its sustainability strategy in 2026 with a new Environmental Sustainability Plan covering different areas of the festival.

The measures include offsetting the carbon emissions of participants in the Castrol Historical Hill Climb and Motor Packs through the Zerar programme, separate waste collection, reusable cups, sustainable merchandise, soil protection, the use of solar energy generated by the Museu do Caramulo and the promotion of car sharing. The “Caramulo is not an ashtray” campaign also forms part of this strategy.

Ponto Verde, Sogilub, Valorcar, Valorpneu and the Association of Municipalities of the Planalto Beirão Region will be present at the festival with games, activities and awareness initiatives focused on recycling, the circular economy and responsible waste management.
