Racing driver and CEO of Stellantis, formed from the merger of PSA and FCA. Passionate about cars from an early age and the current CEO of Stellantis, Carlos Tavares started out as a track marshal at the Estoril Circuit. He drove his first race behind the wheel of an Alfasud Sprint in Vila do Conde in 1980, and three years later began participating in rallies with his friend Bruno Cébile as his co-driver, with Arnaud Montagné as a technical assistant. Throughout his competitive career, he has had several standout moments, including participating in the Monte Carlo Rally with his own team, Clementeam Racing, and a victory in the A2 class at the 2014 24 Hours of Barcelona, driving a Peugeot RCZ. He is recognized as a true “Car Guy”, possessing an extraordinary car collection that he regularly uses to compete and maintains himself.
