He has won 11 championships throughout his career. He won the Diana Kart Trophy for three consecutive years: 1994, 1995, and 1996. In 1998, he was crowned Formula Ford Champion. The following year, he secured sixth place at the Formula Ford Festival. In 2000, he won the Formula BMW Championship and took third place in Formula Super Toyota (formerly Formula 3) in Spain. During the 2001 season, he claimed second place in the Renault Clio Trophy. In off-road racing, he emerged as the winner of the Polaris Ace Challenge in 2005. In 2007, 2010, 2011, and 2012, he became the Super Seven champion behind the wheel of a Caterham 1.6. In 2018, he was once again crowned Super Seven champion in the 420R category, driving a Caterham 2.0. Ricardo Megre has been a certifi ed Porsche driving coach and instructor since 2017.
