The Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport will make its debut at the Caramulo Motorfestival and will be one of the standout cars at the Rampa Histórica Castrol. Limited to just 77 units, this model was developed by Porsche Motorsport without the constraints imposed by racing regulations, taking an approach focused entirely on track performance.

Based on the 992-generation 911 GT3 R, the Rennsport is equipped with a 4.2-litre six-cylinder boxer engine, capable of producing 620 PS at 9,400 rpm. Weighing in at just 1,240 kg, it boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 2 kg per horsepower and features a six-speed sequential gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

The absence of homologation restrictions allowed Porsche to push the foundations of the GT3 R even further. The engine has been given a higher compression ratio, along with bespoke pistons and camshafts, whilst the Rennsport exhaust system—which is unsilenced and features centrally mounted twin tailpipes—was developed exclusively for this model. The setup also includes BBS alloy wheels and Michelin tyres designed specifically for the Rennsport.

The bodywork has also been profoundly redesigned, featuring the extensive use of carbon fibre and bespoke aerodynamics. Among the most striking elements is the vast rear wing, whose design harks back to historic Porsche racing models. The Rennsport thus establishes itself as an extreme evolution of the 911 GT3 R, created outside the rulebook of any championship and intended purely for track use.
