The Motorfestival once again brings together drivers from both sides of the border, with several Spanish names confirmed to take on one of the event’s main stages.

Spanish participation has become a familiar sight on the Rampa Histórica Castrol in recent editions, with drivers — particularly from neighbouring 

alicia — joining their Portuguese counterparts across the different competition categories.

Among the most regular is Bernardo García De Castro. In 2025, the Galician driver made his fourth consecutive appearance at the Caramulo Motorfestival, driving a Porsche 991 GT3 Cup in the Speedmasters category. The event also saw the debut of his son, Bernardo García Jr., who put on a demonstration in the kart he races in the Galician Karting Championship.

The Spanish contingent also reflects the increasingly international character of the Rampa Histórica Castrol, which last year brought together drivers from ten different nationalities across historic and classic cars, as well as competition machinery.

It all sets the scene for a weekend in the Serra do Caramulo where cars and drivers from different generations — and different countries — come together.
